Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 October 2026. These explain how VanLoader works. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. Who we are
VanLoader connects customers with independent, licensed and insured van crews ("partners") who carry out clearances, home moves, collections and junk removal. We arrange and manage your booking; the job itself is performed by a vetted partner crew.
2. Your price and the photo review
The price shown when you book is an instant estimate based on the service and size you select and any photos or description you provide. It becomes a fixed, binding price after a short, free photo or video review, which lets us confirm volume and access. If the job differs materially from what was described, we'll agree a revised fixed price before any work begins — you're free to cancel at no cost if you don't accept it.
3. What's included
Your fixed price is all-inclusive of labour, loading, transport and (for clearance/disposal jobs) disposal and recycling, unless stated otherwise. For clearances, usable items may be donated or resold. Hazardous materials (e.g. asbestos, chemicals, certain electricals) may require specialist handling and are not included as standard; we'll tell you if this applies.
4. Payment
No payment is required to book. You may pay in full when you book for a 10% saving (fully refundable if the review changes the agreed scope or you cancel), or pay the fixed price once the job is complete by card or bank transfer. Any add-on services are added at the prices shown.
5. Your belongings
Please identify anything you wish to keep before the job. For clearances, our crews take care to set aside documents and items of apparent value for your review, but you remain responsible for checking first. We cannot be liable for items disposed of that were not identified for retention.
6. Cancellations & reschedules
Reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your booked date. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a reasonable charge for a crew's reserved time; any prepayment is otherwise refundable.
7. Licensing & duty of care
Waste removed for disposal is handled by Environment Agency–registered (or SEPA / NRW) waste carriers, with a Waste Transfer Note provided, discharging your household duty of care. Partners hold their own public liability and goods-in-transit insurance.
8. Liability
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our liability for any single booking is limited to the price paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
